1) I bought this new electric razor for my beard and it totally kicked ass. So I was hella happy not getting hairs pulled from my damned jawline.
2) I left the house to get to the comic store by 10a and I got there at 9:54 and they opened their doors a bit early... By the time i made it to the dealer incentives releases, there was only ONE All Hail Megatron RI left and I got it... not to mention the other two covers, so I was stooooked!!!!
3) I leave the comic shot at 10:06 and get to Toys R Us to find the re-Issue of Perceptor and the Insecticons! Again... win
4) The day at work went amazingly well. I made my meeting by 10:30 without a hitch and I felt like i was heard and not interrupted. It was nice because usually I feel rushed or that my opinion doesn't matter. I even got to voice my concerns to managment about a new project too and i felt like my concerns were valid and the manager confirmed it, so another blessing is counted.
5) I had a really supercool chick come visit me at work yesterday. It was unexpected, but it was bad ass non-the-less, where we got to split some dinner Downtown. -check
6) so I get some massive lighting work done in 3D and the 3D concept artists approve and tell me that I am really really improving with my quality of work. Ive been really needing someone to really assess my ability and truly mentor me and my friend Marco is really doing that for me. Thanks Marco!
7) I started playing Stranglehold on Tuesday night and MAN IS THAT GAME AMAZING!!!! the environments are totally destructible. I have no idea how these guys are doing that. I know the Unreal Engine, but the guys over at Midway and Tiger Hill made the Unreal Engine its bitch and it really acted very similar to the Crytech Engine. I spent a solid hour on that game just to shoot up columns and random things just to see if they would destroy the same way twice. Some things like tables and chairs did, but other objects like wooden pillars and concrete objects did NOT break the same way twice. it was AMAZINGIts PHENOMINAL... so I played 2 levels last night and got to the casino stage.... WHERE YOU HAVE TO KILL PEOPLE AND KEEP A JAZZ BAND ALIVE WHILE YOUR KILLING PEOPLE WITH STYLE! man its really mind blowing. complete concentrated awesome.
8) I HAD to play Street Fighter 4 last night. I am getting waaaaaay behind my friends in this game. They are tearing me up. Especially Humble Ty. I say hes humble because he will f^*(&%N DESTROY you and be all like 'good game Vince' or 'I still have a lot to learn' or 'Im really not that good.' Its totally frustrating how good he is at this game. February 20, 2009 is when this game hit shelves. We ended up picking up this game sometime in the first week of March. I kept hearing how the trial modes would make you better and MAN is this true. I still dont own the game, Ive been waiting for it to come down in price, but we play it at work everyday for at least 2 hours a day. Bout an hour at lunchtime and an hour afterwork... minimum. My friend X-Man is letting me borrow his copy for now and last night, after 7.5 MONTHS of training, I finally completed all of Guiles Trials. You dont really understand because I am a Guile ONLY user. I dont mess with other characters all that often. In fact, just this past weekend, I started really messing with Ken and hes annoying, so I quit using him. You have no idea how happy i am. It seems retarded to be this stoked, but really... This is a blessing. Today I finally can say I truly understand Guiles potential... dont believe me? Watch this video by Sean Gilley, the Guile master..... [link]
