The guy looks pretty cool, and the bike design matches, but the energy parts kind of overwhelm any other detail.

i agree. Its also the overwhelming outdoor lighting. Ill consider throwing this guy into a different map.

Your models are awesome! I'd know more about 'em if we saw a wireframe or straight T-Pose, but overall the models of both the knight and the bike are great. I'd have to disagree slightly with the previous comment. I don't think it's so much the energy sparks that the bike is giving off. I think it has more to do with the high refraction from the knights armor. berhaps toning it down a smidge would help it some.

Your normal maps are pretty sharp wrom what I can see and there's real life in these images. Great job!

Did you model the landscape too?

no, no... the landscape and lighting is all Epic games. I am using the Trolan Vehicles map as my background. I am not a lighting artist at all. In fact, I outight suck. no matter how many tutorials I've read and done, it just doesnt seem to click. There has to be a certain level of talent that goes with lighting and I don't have it.... yet. I think I should post some wireframe comparisons too. its a good idea.

(being humble when i say this, not a jerk. just to let you know refraction bends light and reflection bounces light. I think you meant reflection, not refraction).
